On October 5, 2022 a meeting was held in Moscow between Inal Ardzinba the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, and Dmitry Mezentsev, the State Secretary of the, Union State of Russia and Belarus.

Inal Ardzinba and Dmitry Mezentsev discussed the results of the visit of Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Belarus to the Republic of Abkhazia.

The Foreign Minister of Abkhazia stressed that Abkhazia is interested in studying of the experience of the Union State as an effective integration platform. In modern conditions, the vast majority of countries participate in the work of various integration associations.

"Sovereign states are joining forces to resolve economic issues in order to improve the quality of life of their citizens," Ardzinba said.

Inal Ardzinba conveyed greetings and good wishes to Dmitry Mezentsev from Aslan Bzhaniia, the President of Abkhazia.
