On February 14, Inal Ardzinba’s working trip to Moscow started.

On February 14, 2024, a meeting between Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and Sergei Ryabkov, the representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the BRICS group (Russian Sherpa), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The parties discussed issues of mutual interest. 

Ryabkov provided information on current aspects of the Russian Federation's chairmanship in BRICS.

The Russian Federation's chairmanship in BRICS began on January 1 and will last until December 31 of this year. Within its framework, it is planned to hold more than 200 events of various levels in many cities of Russia.

The summit of BRICS heads of state will be held in Kazan.
