Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and Sergei Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation signed a joint Plan of consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

The signing took place in the presence of Aslan Bzhania, the President of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Inal Ardzinba and Sergei Lavrov signed a joint Consultation Plan, which involves intensifying cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries in the field of information support for foreign policy activities, organizing joint conferences, cultural
and sports events.

The parties agreed to systematically conduct consultations on these topics.

The Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation proceed from the fact that the signed joint Consultation Plan will help strengthen the interstate dialogue between the countries.
