“Our task is to comprehensively develop relations with the Republic of Belarus,” the Minister stressed. During the talks, the parties, first of all, discussed a wide range of trade and economic issues.
“A trading house has already been established. Contracts are being signed for the supply of Abkhazian wine to Belarus and in other areas of trade cooperation,” said Inal Ardzinba. In addition, the issue of enhancing investment cooperation was discussed.
“We create the most favorable conditions. The President signed a Decree on the extension of the visa-free stay of citizens of Belarus in Abkhazia. These are very important factors in strengthening our relations and our dialogue,” the Minister highlighted.
At the meeting was also discussed the creation of an IT cluster in the Republic of Abkhazia. “This is an important strategic task, primarily related to increasing the investment attractiveness of the Republic of Abkhazia. We are confident that Abkhazia, our beautiful homeland, can become a place of deployment for many specialists in this field,” Ardzinba said. Inal Ardzinba also said that the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania agreed with Alexander Lukashenko on the allocation of quotas for the education of young people from Abkhazia in the best universities of the Republic of Belarus.
