Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia met with Mikhail Bogdanov, the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on April 2, 2021.

The extensive exchange of views took place on the situation in the Middle East region and Africa during the meeting.

The special attention was paid to the topical issues of foreign policy interaction between Abkhazia and Russia. Russia is ready to continue to assist the Republic of Abkhazia in strengthening of its international positions, according to the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation.

Daur Kove thanked Mikhail Bogdanov for the comprehensive support provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
