On March 13, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba met the Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Abkhazia Dmitry Fedotov.

During the conversation, a detailed exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues. In particular, during the meeting the issue of admission of applicants from the Republic of Abkhazia to higher educational institutions of Russia in 2024 was discussed.

Inal Ardzinba noted a big number of requests from applicants for admission to Russian universities this year, including from children of deceased participants in the special military operation, active participants and veterans of the SPO. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia addressed the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office with a request to provide assistance in their admission to universities in the Russian Federation.

“Youth are our great hope, and we are trying in every possible way to support them,” noted Inal Ardzinba. Moreover, the idea of ​​holding a youth festival in 2024 in the format: Republic of Abkhazia-Russian Federation-Republic of Belarus is being explored in the Republic of Abkhazia.

Inal Ardzinba noted that holding such an event would further strengthen contacts between the youth of the three countries.

Dmitry Fedotov, for his part, expressed the readiness of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in the Republic of Abkhazia to join this work.

In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Inal Ardzinba stated during the meeting that the youth of the social platform “Future of Abkhazia” support the candidacy of the current President of Russia Vladimir Putin in the upcoming Russian Presidential elections in March of this year. Inal Ardzinba said that representatives of the platform intend to conduct an information campaign “Abkhazia for Putin.”

Inal Ardzinba thanked in the face of Dmitry Fedotov the Central Office of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Abkhazia for supporting the youth of Abkhazia, in particular, in the matter of admission to leading universities in Russia.

Dmitry Fedotov, in turn, thanked Inal Ardzinba for his active cooperation in supporting the youth of the republic.

The head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Abkhazia also expressed solidarity and readiness to provide full assistance in the implementation of joint projects and for further productive cooperation.
