Abkhazian-Russian consultations

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation held regular consultations within the framework of the mechanism for foreign policy coordination of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia and the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Daur Kove, the Foreign Minister, Adgur Chegia, the Head of the Strategic Cooperation Department and Timur Shanava, the Head of the Information and Analytical Department and Irakli Tuzhba, the Assistant of the Minister of Foreign Affairs took part in the consultations from the part of the Republic of Abkhazia.

A wide range of issues of bilateral Abkhaz-Russian relations was discussed. The subjects of the upcoming 40-th round of the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia were also discussed. It will be held on June 20-21, 2017.

The practice of regular mutual information and consultations will be continued in Moscow and Sukhum.
