The Abkhaz delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove includes Trade Representative of Abkhazia to Russia Oleg Bartsyts, Rector of the Abkhaz State University Aleko Gvaramia, Foreign Ministry officials Tengiz Tarba and Madina Zukhba.

During the visit the delegation took part in commemorative events dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the death of Hugo Chavez. The ceremony was held at the Museum of the Revolution, where now there is a sarcophagus with the body of the Comandante.

A series of meetings with officials and public figures of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is also scheduled for the working visit as well as development of cooperation agreements in various areas of bilateral Abkhaz-Venezuelan cooperation.
