On June 22, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba arrived in the Republic of Turkey.

At the Istanbul International Airport, Inal Ardzinba was met by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Turkey Ibrahim Avidzba. Inal Ardzinba visited the office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Turkey, where a meeting was held with the participation of the Chairman of the Federation of Abkhazian Cultural Centers in Turkey, Murat Makharia.

During the meeting, Ardzinba emphasized the importance of intensification of work with compatriots in Turkey, expanding international contacts of Abkhazia with the participation of Russian colleagues, as well as intensifying information policy.
