On July 20, 2023, the signing of the Program of Events for 2023 between the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Government of the Republic of Nicaragua took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua.

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Beslan Dzhopua and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua Denis Moncada Colindres signed a document on cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Nicaragua in the field of culture, sports, education and youth policy.

The program of events involves interaction and exchange of experience between the relevant ministries of the two countries.
