On 4 June 2025, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia between the Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Odissei Bigvava and the Co-Chairs of the International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia - UN Co-Chair Cihan Sultanoğlu, EU Co-Chair Magdalena Grono and OSCE Co-Chair Christoph Ernst Späti.

The Abkhazian side was represented by the officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, participants of the Discussions Alisa Barzaniia, Lasha Avidzba, Artur Gaguliia and Madina Zukhba.

The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of the agenda of the upcoming 64th round of the International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of regional security, problems related to freedom of movement, as well as other current issues of the agenda of the upcoming round.

A mutual intention was expressed to resume the work of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) in Gal.

The 64th round of the International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia will be held in Geneva on June 25-26, 2025.
