Speech by Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia at the awards ceremony and gala concert for the winners of the 4-th Alisa Gitsba International Music Competition and Laboratory, "Music – Dialogue Without Borders and Distances" (October 23, 2025, R. Gumba Abkhaz State Philharmonic)

On October 23-rd, the R. Gumba Abkhaz State Philharmonic Hall hosted an awards ceremony and gala concert for the winners of the 4-th Alisa Gitsba International Music Competition and Laboratory, "Music – Dialogue Without Borders and Distances."

On October 22, as part of the 4th Alisa Gitsba International Music Laboratory Competition "Music - Dialogue Without Borders and Distances," the third round (in-person auditions) with an orchestra in the "Opera Singing" category took place in which leading soloist of the Nicaraguan Incanto Foundation (Nicaraguan Vocal Institute) Katerin Velasquez took part.

On October 21, 2025, Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia received Alisa Gitsba, People's Artist of the Republic of Abkhazia, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, and director of the International Music Competition-Laboratory "Music – Dialogue Without Borders and Distance," and Katerin Velasquez, leading soloist of the Nicaraguan Incanto Foundation (Nicaraguan Vocal Institute) and participant in the 4-th Alisa Gitsba International Music Competition-Laboratory.

At the invitation of the Incanto Opera Foundation's leadership, represented by Laureano Ortega and Elisa Picado, Inar Ladaria, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua participated in a press conference dedicated to the participation of Katerin Velasquez, the Incanto Foundation soloist in Alisa Gitsba's international music competition-laboratory.

On October 20, a working meeting was held between Oleg Bartsits, Foreign Minister and Isaac Koumessina, Ambassador-at-Large of the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia. Irakli Tuzhba, Acting Deputy Foreign Minister participated in the meeting.

On October 17, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia hosted a working meeting between the Deputy Foreign Minister Odissei Bigvava and the Co-Chairs of the International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia. The event was attended by EU Co-Chair Magdalena Grono, OSCE Co-Chair Christoph Ernst Späti and Officer-in-Charge for the UN Representative to the Discussions Hailu Mamo. The Abkhazian side was also represented by the staff of the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry and participants of the Discussions Artur Gaguliia and Lasha Avidzba.

Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulated veterans and members of the political party «Amtsakhara» on the 25-th anniversary of its establishment.

Today, October 12, we mark 26 years since the adoption of the Act of State Independence of the Republic of Abkhazia.We are publishing the text of this important historical document, signed by Vladislav Ardzinba, the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Speaker of the People's Assembly, Sokrat Dzhindzholiya, and members of the People's Assembly.

The adoption of the resolution "Cooperation with Georgia" in the UN Human Rights Council and the subsequent statements by UK representatives are part of a long-running political performance aimed at discrediting of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation.
