During the meeting, issues of intensifying interaction with compatriots living in Turkey were discussed.

The minister emphasized that this communication should be substantive in nature and relate to the socio-economic development of Abkhazia.

“You and I discussed issues related to our contacts with Northern Cyprus. This opens up certain prospects for investment interaction and exchange of experience,” the minister noted.

Inal Ardzinba also reported that the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry is in active contact with Palestinian representatives in the Russian Federation.

“<…>Turkey takes an active position on this issue, so I ask you to inform us about the position of the Turkish leadership,” the minister emphasized.
