On February 28, 2022 a meeting was held between Inar Ladaria, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua and Arlet Marenko, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nicaragua.

The meeting was also attended by Valeria Logua, the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Nicaragua and Sicilia Arguello, the Director of the Department of Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua.
The sides exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda and discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation.
