On March 27, 2024, Mohammad Jalalovich, Ali the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic met with Muhammad Tarek KrishatiБ the Governor of Damascus.

The parties discussed ways to expand bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of economics, tourism and services, in order to achieve the common interests of both sides.

During the meeting, the readiness of the Framework Agreement between the city of Sukhum (Republic of Abkhazia) and Damascus (Syrian Arab Republic), which was prepared by the Abkhaz and Syrian sides was discussed. The date for signing the Agreement will be determined soon.
