At the Embassy of Abkhazia in Syria, A meeting was held between Muhammad Ali, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic with Ghassan Shoura, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Circassian Charitable Association in the Syrian Arab Republic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the mechanism of cooperation between the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in Damascus and the Circassian Charitable Association for holding joint events in various fields, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.

In addition, Muhammad Ali, the Ambassador of Abkhazia to Syria highly appreciated the role of the Circassian community in Syrian society and emphasized that they are an integral part of the social structure of Syria.

The Ambassador also expressed gratitude to the leadership of the association for its efforts in charitable, social and medical activities in accordance with the goals that the association seeks to realize.

Dr. Hassan Shoura, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Circassian Charitable Association on his own behalf and on behalf of the Circassian community congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible position and presented him with an honorary plaque of the Circassian Association wishing him success in his work.
