On October 31, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Sebastian Michel, took part in the opening ceremony of the Bolivian Aviation flight connecting Santa Cruz and Caracas.

The event took place at Simon Bolivar International Airport in the state of La Guaira. 

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Tourism of Venezuela Ali Padron, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia Rogelio Maita and the Executive Secretary of ALBA Felix Plasencia.

Ambassador Gvadzhava thanked the Ombudsman for his cooperation and interest in strengthening friendly relations between the two countries. The parties agreed to meet in the near future.

The ceremony was attended by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism of Venezuela.
