On February 20, 2024, Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the invitation of Daisy Torres Bosques, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela took part in a ceremony dedicated to the 90-th anniversary of the death of General Augusto Nicolas Calderon Sandino. 

The event took place at the National Pantheon in Caracas. 

The ceremony was led by Dicey Torres Bosques and Ruben Dario Molina Nicaraguan Ambassador to Venezuela and Deputy Minister for Latin American Affairs. 

The event was also attended by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the media and other guests.
