On December 19, 2022, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, took part in a commemorative ceremony dedicated to the 192nd anniversary of the death of national hero Simon Bolivar.

A commemorative ceremony was held at the National Pantheon in the city of Caracas. It was attended by high-ranking representatives of the executive authorities, including Carlos Rafael Faria Tortosa, Foreign Minister, Remigio Ceballos, Interior Minister, as well as the leadership of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces of Venezuela (FANB).

The ceremony was attended by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, the media and other guests.
