On August 5, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of Sebastian Rodrigo Michel Hoffman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, took part in the solemn ceremony on the occasion of the 197th anniversary of the independence of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.

The ceremony was held in the monumental complex of the National Pantheon under the chairmanship of Sebastian Michel Hoffman, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bolivia to Venezuela, Ernesto Villegas Pollac, Minister of Culture of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Walter Clarems Endar, Permanent Secretary of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) and other high-ranking representatives of the government of the country.

 At the end of the solemn ceremony, a festive reception was held at the Plaza de los Tratados, at which Michel Hoffman, the Ambassador of Bolivia and Ernesto Villegas, the Minister of Culture of Venezuela made speeches.

Ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the media and other guests took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bolivia.
