On September 2, 2022, Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the invitation of Le Viet Duena, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the independence of Vietnam.

The National Pantheon of Simon Bolivar in Caracas hosted a solemn ceremony led by Carlos Rafael Faria Tortosa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Le Viet Duen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Vietnam.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, deputies of the National Assembly, representatives of the high military command, the media and invited guests.
