The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela hosted a working meeting between Zaur Gwajava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela with Daniela Rodriguez, the Vice Minister for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela.

During the meeting, a thorough exchange of views took place on the current agenda of bilateral cooperation and further areas of interstate interaction.

In particular, the parties expressed mutual commitment to further develop close bilateral cooperation on key issues of mutual interest.

Venezuela reaffirmed to provide maximum assistance to the Republic of Abkhazia in the context of strengthening of its international relations.

During the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in further building up and strengthening of the bilateral legal framework.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to intensify and deepen humanitarian cooperation and expand cultural ties.

The meeting took place in a traditionally friendly and confidential atmosphere.
