On November 21, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov, took part in the opening ceremony of an exhibition of graphic works about the Great Patriotic War by Russian artist Gennady Dobrov.

The opening of the exhibition took place at the National Art Gallery in Caracas.

The ceremony was headed by the Minister of Culture of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Ernesto Villegas and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov.

Guests were presented with works from the “Autographs of War” and “Requiem” series, revealing the tragedy of the war.

The event was attended by ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Venezuela, representatives of the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Venezuelan Ministry of Culture, the media and other guests.
