Daur Kove, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to Dmitri Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia on the 20-th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of South Ossetia.

In the congratulatory note, it is noted in particular:

"The role of the Constitution in the life of the state and citizens cannot be overestimated. It contains in itself national values and serves as a guideline through which the country is moving. The Basic Law of South Ossetia symbolizes a strong independent Republic.

The time that has passed since the adoption of the Constitution has shown the importance and significance of the Document. I am confident that the South Ossetian people will continue to pursue the path of democracy and development in accordance with the country's Constitution.
