The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Nauru on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Republic of Nauru.
The note states:
“The day of December 15, 2009 is a truly significant date in the recent history of the Republic of Abkhazia. The establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of Nauru on this day became the key to the development of relations of friendship and cooperation between our peoples and states.
For a relatively short period of time, close contacts were established between our states at a high level, political interaction is strengthening, and the course towards the dynamic development of bilateral relations is continuing. ”
The note states:
