The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent the congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the independence of the Artsakh Republic.
The congratulation letter says:
"The adoption of the Declaration on the Proclamation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on September 2, 1991, which became the turning point in the history of Artsakh gave birth to the new stage in the national liberation struggle, the construction and development of independent statehood.
The history of Artsakh independence is not only the desire to establish historical justice and universal values but also the history of the heroic struggle for the most fundamental of human rights - the right of freedom, the right to make one's own destiny realized in the most difficult and bloody war.
To date Artsakh is an independent state that has traveled more than the quarter of the century. Despite the objectively existing difficulties that your country has achieved in various areas of state-building, you can look to the future with great optimism. With honor and dignity overcoming all the trials, the state and society of the Republic of Artsakh are resolutely solving national tasks.
The Artsakh Republic consistently develops relations based on equality with other countries as evidenced by the recent visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of international relations between our departments.
We are convinced that the foreign ministries of the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Abkhazia will continue to follow the traditions of friendship and cooperation aimed at the common good of the nations of our countries."
