The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Compatriots Abroad of the Syrian Arab Republic on the 75-th anniversary of Independence Day.

It is noted, in particular:

"April 17, 1946 is forever engraved in the pages of history as the Independence Day of the Syrian Arab Republic.

Today, 75 years later, this holiday is identified with the steadfastness of the Syrian people who are ready to defend their national values, stand guard over the sovereignty and unity of the State despite all the difficulties.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulates the Syrian people on Independence Day and wishes comprehensive peace and prosperity to the Syrian Arab Republic.
