Acting Minister, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Odyssey Bigvava sent a congratulatory note to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia Mikhail Shurgalin on the occasion of the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation.

The congratulation, in particular, says: 

“The adoption of the Constitution made it possible to create the basis for the consolidation of Russian society, ensuring peace and harmony, the progressive development of democratic institutions and further improvement of the state in all areas. 

The adopted Constitution of the Russian Federation became the core of the development of a free, democratic and independent state. Today, thanks to the Basic Law of the country, which has absorbed the rich experience of the great history of Russia, and the modern mechanisms necessary for building a successful state, the Russian Federation is at the forefront of the global confrontation, the purpose of which is to change the outdated, unfair and non-inclusive world order established in the interests of a limited number of countries that believe in their exclusivity. 

We highly appreciate the achieved high level of the Abkhazian-Russian strategic alliance and express confidence in the further strengthening of bilateral relations.”
