The 48th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) took place in Gal on July 26.
The meeting continued discussion of the number of issues related to various aspects of cross-border cooperation and security.
The Abkhaz side was headed by Vladimir Arlan, Deputy Chairman of the Abkhazian State Security Service.
The Abkhazian group included Astamur Kolbaya, the Head of the Department of the Central Staff of the SSS of the Republic of Abkhazia, Timur Shergelia, the Head of the Gal District Department of the SSS and Georgy Dumava, the Assistant Foreign Minister of Abkhazia. An agreement was reached to hold the next IPRM meeting on September 19, 2017.
