Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier on June 22, 2020. The ceremony was dedicated to the 79-th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. It was attended by Badra Gunba, the Vice President of the Republic of Abkhazia and the members of the government.

The event was organized by the State Museum of Military Glory named after V.G. Ardzinba together with the Representation of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Abkhazia with the assistance of the Administration of the Sukhum city.
