The consultations between the Councils of Young Diplomats to the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia and the Russian Foreign Ministry took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on September 19.
The vice-presidents of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia as part of the Abkhaz side - Inar Ladaria and Victoria Malania, the members of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia and members of the Council of Young Diplomats, Temur Rekvava, Milana Abshilava and Madina Shamba employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and Milana Benia, the Secretary of the Council of Young Diplomats to the MFA of Abkhazia.
Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia made the welcoming speech before the beginning of consultations to the young diplomats of Abkhazia and Russia. He noted that the interaction between the young diplomats of Abkhazia and Russia is actively gained momentum and strengthened.
"The Council of Young Diplomats of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia has done the great job in maintaining the continuity of the traditions of the Abkhaz diplomacy, increasing the professionalism and qualifications of young employees and adapting students of relevant specialties to the diplomatic service since its foundation in 2014," he stressed.
"By combining our efforts with our colleagues from the Russian Foreign Ministry our young diplomats received more opportunities for their activities and in the future will discover new promising areas of work. I have no doubt that all the events planned by you will be held at the high level and with the worthy result, "he said.
The welcoming speech was also made by Inar Ladaria, the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia as well as Konstantin Kolpakov, the Chairman of the Council of Young Diplomats (CYD) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
During the consultation issues of cooperation were discussed within the framework of the CYD forum, participation of Abkhazian and Russian diplomats in the WFYS in Sochi as well as issues of possible assistance in the participation of members of the MFA to the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry in international consultations of young diplomats in the framework of the forums of young diplomats BRICS and OIC.
There was also the discussion of the prospects for the establishment of an international association of young diplomats, the creation of an information resource for promoting the format of the international youth movement within the framework of the Youth Associations (Council, Clubs).
They also discussed the possibility of the participation of members of the CYD in sports, intellectual, cultural and other events at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia held in the territory of the Russian Federation in which the CYD of the Russian Foreign Ministry take part.
After the consultations the round table will be held on the topic: "Information security as the most important component of the modern system of international relations".
The Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia was established in 2014. The agreement on cooperation between the Council of Young Diplomats at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation was signed in 2015.
Traditionally the Council includes young employees of the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry and students of the Abkhaz State University (ASU) of the department of "International Relations".
