The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolence to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic in connection with the terrorist attack that took place in the Syrian capital, Damascus, in the morning of October 20.

It is particularly noted:

«The Republic of Abkhazia received with the feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow the news of the inhuman terrorist act, which took place in one of the most crowded areas of the center of Damascus near the Presidential Bridge, resulting in numerous victims and injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia strongly condemns terrorism in all its manifestations, expresses its deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured».
