Irakliy Tuzhba, Deputy Foreign Minister commented on the results of a meeting with the heads of international organizations and UN agencies, which took place on November 29 at the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry under the chairmanship of Minister Inal Ardzinba.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia emphasizes the need for coordinated work and the mandatory approval of all projects planned for implementation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," he said.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia "On the coordinating role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia in the implementation of a single foreign policy of the Republic of Abkhazia", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia was tasked with coordinating the activities of international organizations and UN agencies implementing various humanitarian projects in the Republic of Abkhazia.
All current and planned projects in the field of education, healthcare, agriculture and other areas of humanitarian cooperation will be implemented subject to mandatory approval by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
