Alexey Dvinyanin, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia introduced to Daur Kove, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Litvinov, the new Adviser-Envoy of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia on January 15,2019.
The Acting Foreign Minister of Abkhazia greeted the new Adviser-Envoy and emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia traditionally have developed good friendly working relations with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia. “We have known Maxim Vadimovich for more than a year, first of all, on the work at the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia, this gives us confidence and reason to say that we will continue the work in a productive way for the good of our two countries,” said the Acting Minister.
In turn, Alexey Dvinyanin, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia expressed the gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia for their kind attitude to the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia and its staff.
Dvinyanin noted that the Embassy shares the concern of the Abkhazian population with the current situation in the country and considers this a sovereign internal affair of the republic: “We consider it important to maintain the stability and security in the Republic and are ready to assist Russia in any possible way. We hope that our foreign policy cooperation based on the concluded Memorandums of Cooperation will be continued in a constructive manner both in Geneva and other international venues,” Dvinyanin emphasized.
