On October 27, Daur Kove, the Foreign Minister of Abkhazia hosted a meeting with Nick Beresford, the new UNDP Permanent Representative in the South Caucasus in the MFA of Abkhazia.

Nick Beresford succeeds Louise Winton as UNDP Permanent Representative for the South Caucasus.

Daur Kove wished Nick Beresford success in his new post and expressed hope for joint fruitful work. He stressed the importance of coordinating of the actions of international organizations with the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further steps for interaction and implementation of projects implemented by UNDP on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia.
