On January 23, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba held an online meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vitaly Ignatiev.

As part of the online meeting, the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries discussed a wide range of issues of Abkhazian-Pridnestrovian cooperation in the context of the implementation of previously reached agreements.

Inal Ardzinba congratulated Vitaly Ignatiev on the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, and also stressed that the Republic of Abkhazia would continue the tradition of friendly relations with Pridnestrovie, providing support in all areas.

Vitaly Ignatiev, for his part, noted that the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the two states is being effectively implemented and is of great importance for the future of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Inal Ardzinba invited Vitaly Ignatiev to visit the Republic of Abkhazia on May 17, 2023 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
