On February 22, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia hosted a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Inal Ardzinba with the head of the Youth Department of the State Committee for Youth and Sports of the Republic of Abkhazia, Idris Kara-Osman-ogly, and the Director of the Department for Youth and Sports of the Sukhum Municipal Administration, Elsa Khagba.

During the meeting, current issues of interdepartmental interaction in the field of youth policy, the participation of the Republic of Abkhazia in the BRICS sports games, as well as the upcoming World Youth Festival, which will be held in Sirius in March of this year, were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, Inal Ardzinba handed over a gift certificate for 100 books “Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX and the Road to the Future” to the main supervising body for preparing and organizing the participation of the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia in the World Youth Festival - the State Committee for Youth and Sports of the Republic of Abkhazia. The gift is intended for young people who will represent our country at the festival.
