The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia headed by Beslan Dzhopua, Vice Prime Minister and Irakli Tuzhba, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia arrived in Nicaragua to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Revolution in Nicaragua.

At the airport, the government delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia was met by Laureano Ortega, the adviser to the President of Nicaragua.

44 years ago, on July 19, 1979, the Sandinista Revolution won in Nicaragua. On this day, the rebel detachments of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN, FSLN) entered the capital of the country, Managua, ending the long-term rule of a bloody and corrupt regime.
