From August 17 to 21, 2023, a delegation of the CYD under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, at the invitation of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, takes part in the VI Global Forum of Young Diplomats, which started in Kazan.

The forum brought together about 130 experts from more than 40 countries. The key topic of the event is the diplomacy of the new multipolar world.

Young diplomats from around the world gathered in Kazan to discuss information security, humanitarian cooperation and countering the soft power of states unfriendly to Russia, as well as promoting Russia's interests in countries of near and far abroad.

The Global Forum of Young Diplomats is based on the principle of horizontal diplomacy and is designed to strengthen trust and mutual understanding in the international arena.
