The Foreign Ministry of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic hosted a meeting between the Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie Vitaly Ignatiev and Alexander Vataman, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR and Vitaly Yankovsky, the Head of the Official Representation of the Republic of South Ossetia in the PMR.

On January 20, 2018, a meeting between Igor Smirnov and the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie Alexander Vataman took place in the office of the First President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. The meeting was attended by deputies of the Supreme Council of the First Convocation of Pridnestrovie Vladimir Rylyakov, Vladimir Yemelyanov, Vyacheslav Zagryadsky.

On January 15, 2025, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to Venezuela took part in the ceremonial annual address of Nicolás Maduro Moros, the President of Venezuela to the country.

On January 14 this year, a working meeting was held in the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic between Alexander Korshunov, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR and Alexander Vataman, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the PMR.

On December 19, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Ivan Gil Pinto, took part in a ceremonial event with the participation of ambassadors and diplomatic representatives accredited in Venezuela, dedicated to the end of the year and the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela.

On December 18, 2024, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Nicaragua Mikhail Ledenev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to Nicaragua Inar Ladariia attended a reception dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Nicaragua.

On December 17, 2024 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, took part in the ceremony on the occasion of the 194th anniversary of the death of the Liberator Simon Bolivar.

On December 11, 2024 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, took part in the ceremony dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Ayacucho.

Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany Khibla Amichba, at the invitation of the Chairman of the Eurasian Society (Berlin), political scientist Alexander Rahr, took part in the Christmas Eve of the Society. The event was dedicated to summing up the results of 2024 and plans for 2025.

On December 5, 2024, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to Nicaragua Inar Ladariia and Counselor of the Embassy of Abkhazia in Nicaragua Alias ​​Ayba attended the opening of the "World Heritage of Serbia - Medieval Monasteries on the UNESCO World Heritage List" exhibition, which was held at the Ruben Dario National Theater.
