Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia had a meeting with Dmitry Medoev, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.

On February 11 within the framework of the working visit, Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia had a meetimg with Mikhail Galperin, the Commissioner of the Russian Federation at the European Court of Human Rights, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation in Moscow in the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

On February 10 the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia celebrated Diplomat's Day. Daur Kove, the head of the Abkhaz Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Odissey Bigvava, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia participated in the event.

Daur Kove, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulated Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on the Diplomat’s Day of Russia.

Daur Kove, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulated Vitaly Ignatyev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic on the Diplomat’s Day of the TMR.

On February 9, 2021, Zaur Gvadjava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of the Nuncio of the Pope, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, His Holiness Aldo Giordano, participated in a video conference of heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulated Igor Akhba,  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation on his birthday.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia congratulated Lionel Rowen Eingimea, the President, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nauru on the Independence Day of the Republic of Nauru.

On January 28, Daur Kove, the Foreign Minister of Abkhazia held a meeting with Jawad Rahman, the President of "BACP", President of the International NGO "Land of Pakistanis in Russia" and Deputy Chairman of the "Business Council on Cooperation with Pakistan"

M. Kalyurand, head of the European Parliament delegation for relations with the South Caucasus, issued a statement calling on the Russian Federation to "fulfill its international obligations and withdraw its recognition of Abkhazia's independence. MEP's statement was made in connection with and in support of the recent decision of the European Court of Human Rights on the so called "Georgia vs. Russia" case related to the armed conflict in South Ossetia in August 2008.
