On December 5, 2023, Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, took part in a meeting with Nicolas Maduro Moros, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Federal Council of Government.

Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia has carried out work to develop new approaches to interaction with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) and UN Agencies operating in the Republic of Abkhazia. The need for this approach is dictated by non-transparent activities and attempts to misinform the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia which is confirmed by contradictions in the information in the submitted questionnaires and the progress of the practical implementation of projects.

On December 5-6, 2023, the 59th round of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia took place in Geneva, in which representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, the Russian Federation and the United States took part. Discussions were co-chaired by the UN, EU and OSCE.

Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory address to Denis Ronaldo Moncada Calindres, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua on the occasion of his anniversary.

On November 30, the Russian Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Irakli Tuzhba, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, head of the Abkhaz delegation at the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasus and Mikhail Galuzin, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba met with the Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation Bashar Jaafari.

On November 21, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Sergey Melik-Bagdasarov, took part in the opening ceremony of an exhibition of graphic works about the Great Patriotic War by Russian artist Gennady Dobrov.

On November 22, a meeting took place between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic, Muhammad Ali, and the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of relations with the Syrian Arab Republic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Syrian Arab Republic, Alexander Efimov.

On November 22, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Iraklii Tuzhba held a meeting with the Co-Chairs of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasus - with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar, the UN Representative Cihan Sultanoğlu and with the OSCE Co-Chairma

The online conference was attended by: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua Denis Moncada, Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic Muhammad Ali, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Vataman, Editor-in-Chief of the Moscow edition of “Alpha News” (from the Republic of Armenia) Hayk Khalatyan.
