Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia on the situation in Ukraine
As a result of the 2014 coup d'état, radicals of the Western project "anti-Russia" came to power in Ukraine. A significant part of the Russian-speaking residents of the south-east of Ukraine did not fit into their ideology. For eight years, the civilian population of the southeast has become the object of armed aggression by the Ukrainian security forces and nationalist groups. They launched rocket and bomb strikes aimed at civilian targets.
