On April 19, 2022 Inar Ladaria, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua met with Denis Moncada Colindres, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nicaragua.

During the meeting, they discussed the issues of the bilateral and international agenda, the prospects for further cooperation. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
On the same day the Ambassador took part in the cycle of videoconferences with the Sandinista Front and made a report on "History, Culture and Struggle of the People of Abkhazia for Independence".

The report highlighted the main stages in the history of Abkhazia and the struggle of its people for independence. More than 500 representatives of party leadership of Sandinista Front, representatives of municipalities of the Republic of Nicaragua and invited guests took part in the online event.

Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Georgiy Muradov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Gustavo Porras Cortes, the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Nicaragua addressed the high assembly.
