Inal Ardzinba, Foreign Minister of Abkhazia met with Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of «Russia Today» TV channel, Russia Today news agency and «Sputnik» news agency in Moscow.

One of the key topics of the meeting was the forthcoming opening of the multifunctional Media Center of the Abkhaz Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In particular, the tools for establishing interaction between the Media Center and Russia's leading news agencies were discussed.

The questions of strengthening of international information policy and formation of positive image of the Republic of Abkhazia were discussed.

Multifunctional Media Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia is preparing for launch in early spring 2022. The Media Center will work with the support of the Department of Information and Press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, as well as Russian news agencies.
