On October 12-13, 2021 the 54th round of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia took place in Geneva with the participation of representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, Republic of South Ossetia, Georgia, Russian Federation and USA co-chaired by the UN, EU and OSCE.

Daur Kove, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent congratulations to Bagrat Khutaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic on the occasion of the anniversary of the opening of the Embassy.

On October 4-th of this year, the international military exercises Eternity-2021 began in Georgia, with the participation of military personnel from Azerbaijan and Turkey. According to the available information, during the exercise, the military personnel of the three countries will carry out tasks to organize protection of regional economic projects. The exercise will last until October 8.

On September 21, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia issued a statement condemning the elections to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation held on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia. The Georgian Foreign Ministry believes that holding such elections is supposedly another destructive step by Moscow, directed against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.

Anatoly Bibilov, the President awarded the Order of Friendship to Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia for contribution to the development of friendly relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia during the solemn session dedicated to the 31-st anniversary of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to Dimitri Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia on the occasion of the Republic Day.

On September 20, in the city of Tskhinval, a meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia headed by Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs with Anatoly Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia took place.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia and Beslan Tvizhba, the First Deputy Defense Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia, Colonel General voted in the elections of members of the Russian State Duma on September 19, 2021 in the Russian Embassy in Tskhinval.

Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia went with an official visit to the Republic of South Ossetia to take part in the festive events dedicated to the 31-st anniversary of founding of the Republic of South Ossetia on September 19,2021.

16 years will be on September 19, 2021 since the signing of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia.
