On December 6, elections to the National Assembly were held in Venezuela. According to preliminary data from the National Electoral Council of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the "Great Patriotic Pole", led by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSPV), won, gaining a majority of seats in parliament.
