The meeting between Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the representatives of the ICRC Mission in the Republic of Abkhazia was held at the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia on November 8,2019.

Maxim Zabaluev, the head of the Mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Republic of Abkhazia introduced Matthias Weinreich who will replace him as the new head of the ICRC Mission in Abkhazia.

In turn, Daur Kove thanked Maxim Zabaluev for the work done and greeted Matthias Weinreich, wished him good luck in his appointment and also noted the importance of continuing the work of the ICRC Mission in the Republic of Abkhazia.

The ICRC mission has been working in Abkhazia since 1992 and carries out a range of humanitarian programs.
