By the order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vitaliy Ignatiev was awarded the medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia for his contribution to the development of international cooperation and diplomatic activity.
On October 25 the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove with the Abkhazia Program Manager of "World Vision" Alfred Nurdja, as well as with the Director of the "World Vision" South Caucasus National Director Hans Bederski. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Department of Europe, the United States and Canada Artur Gaguliya.
Representatives of "World Vision" told the Minister about various projects implemented by the organization and provided the annual report on activities of the program in the Republic of Abkhazia.
"World Vision" is present in Abkhazia since 2005. This organization provides educational, agricultural and other projects. The projects are aimed at addressing a variety of social and environmental issues. The organization covers all the areas of the Republic of Abkhazia.
On October 17, the Abkhazian Foreign Minister Daur Kove met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia Semyon Grigoriev.

On the 17th anniversary of the adoption of the Act on State Independence of the Republic of Abkhazia
17 years ago, on October 12, 1999 the People's Assembly, the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia adopted the Act on State Independence of the Republic of Abkhazia.
On October 12, the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia hosted a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove with the delegation of the Federation of Abkhazian cultural centers in Turkey headed by the chairman Ahmet Hapat. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Committee for Repatriation Vadim Kharazia and the Head of the Department of Turkey and Middle East Inver Alshundba.
Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Bulgaria and the Balkan countries Omer Marchand congratulated Daur Kove on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
On October 11, the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia hosted a press conference dedicated to the results of the 37th round of the Geneva Discussions. The press conference was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove, Deputy Foreign Minister Kan Tania, as well as Foreign Ministry officials Lasha Avidzba, Denis Otyrba and Tengiz Tarba.
