Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatorynote to Denis Moncada Ronaldo Colindres, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua, on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Victory of the Sandinista Revolution.

It is noted:

“July 19, 1979 is the most important date in the recent history of Nicaragua. The victory of the Sandinista Revolution in Nicaragua is a demonstration of the commitment of the Nicaraguan people to the ideals of freedom, independence and social justice, pursuing a course towards the development and strengthening of the political, economic, social and cultural foundations of Nicaragua.

I note with satisfaction that the relations that have developed over the years of cooperation between our states are distinguished by feelings of friendship, mutual trust and respect. These relationships are of particular importance to us. The agenda of our interstate communication is expanding. There is a confident development of the Abkhaz-Nicaraguan political dialogue.

I am convinced that stable ties and common ground on issues bilateral cooperation and key aspects of the world order provide us with a solid foundation for the further development of interstate relations.”
